Zaneta Sedilekova
Zaneta is a qualified lawyer and the director of climate and biodiversity risk consultancy firm Planet Law Lab, where she provides strategic advice to her clients on how climate change and biodiversity loss pose a material risk to their business and wider stakeholders. Zaneta also works as a lawyer in private practice, where she focuses on advising clients on climate and biodiversity liability risk and its mitigation strategies. Her legal expertise covers a wider variety of corporate and environmental issues, many of which sit at the intersection with Indigenous rights. She has co-authored several reports on climate change and biodiversity loss, including Addressing biodiversity loss – revolution or evolution of English law? and Climate change risk – the future of law as we know it? published by The Law Society of England and Wales in June 2022 and February 2021 respectively, and Biodiversity Risk: Legal Implications for Companies and their Directors published by the Commonwealth Climate and Law Initiative in December 2022. She regularly speaks at conferences and webinars.
Ryan (Ra) James
Ryan synthesises traditional wisdom, regenerative business and cross-cultural experience that enables the emergence of diverse futures in a pluriversal world. He is a TEDx speaker, the founder of (re)Biz and the staffholder of education for The Fountain Earth, a non-profit led by Original People’s elders from around the globe focused on integrating Indigenous wisdom into the economy. He is a regenerative business evolutionary that focuses on revitalising people and organisations globally through restoring right-relationship, reciprocity and purpose.
Over the last 13 years, Ryan has traveled and worked in over fifty-five countries on six continents. While on this journey, he has consulted with the Prime Minsters of certain countries while simultaneously being mentored by elders from Original People’s who shared with him their varied wisdoms of seeing and being in the world. He is also presenter & partner of the Well Being Economy Alliance as well as the International Alliance for Localization.
